In order to connect an Instagram account you must not only have a business Instagram, but it must be connected to a FB page.
- To convert your Instagram account to a business account, follow these instructions: https://help.instagram.com/502981923235522
- To connect your Instagram to a Facebook page, follow these instructions:
Step 1) Go to the Instagram Accounts Center for the Instagram account you are trying to connect to FB.
Step 2) Click on "accounts"
Step 3) Click "add account"
Step 4) Connect the FB page (you would do this through an admin FB login)
Step 5) Return to Buffer, refresh and try connect the channel again.
In order to post to Facebook, you will need to login to the Facebook account with ADMIN status and connect the page.

- To disconnect a Facebook page from an Instagram account please follow go to the account center, click on “accounts”, and click remove.
- To connect your Facebook to an Instagram Account, follow these instructions:
Step 1) Go to the Facebook Accounts Center for the Facebook account you are trying to connect to Instagram.
Step 2) Click on "accounts"
Step 3) Click "add account"
Step 4) Connect the IG account
Step 5) Return to Buffer, refresh and try connect the channel again.
